Tell me what's wrong. I'll tell you what it takes.

You don't need to know what's broken or use the right words for it. A sentence about what's happening, or a photo of the error, is plenty to work from.

When you'll hear back

Usually within a few hours during working hours, and by the next morning if you write in the evening. If something is genuinely urgent, like a business that can't operate or a laptop needed for a flight tomorrow, say so in the first message and it moves to the front of the queue.

Before you get in touch, if you can

None of this is required, but it speeds things up:

  1. Note the exact wording of any error message, or photograph it.
  2. Have the make, model and rough age of the device to hand.
  3. If you've lost files or the device is failing, stop using it. Continuing to use it lowers the chance of recovery.
  4. Think about whether you'd prefer I come to you, you drop it off, or we do it remotely. If you're unsure, I'll suggest which fits.

Where I work

I'm based in the centre, so on-site visits across Prague 1 to 10 are straightforward and usually same or next day. Outer districts are fine too, they just get a call-out quoted when you book.

Drop-off is arranged in central Prague when we book, at a time that suits you, rather than at a fixed shopfront. Remote sessions work anywhere with an internet connection, so if you've already left the country and still need a hand, that's fine.

Your data

Anything you send me stays between us, and I don't go through personal files on a device beyond what the job needs. The privacy page spells out exactly how that works.

Goes straight to me and is only used to reply. No mailing list. Details on the privacy page.
